Rosé Pack
Glorious pink drink! This is the pack for lovers of Rosé, a wine style to be taken seriously, it is simply a red wine, made with only small amount of time in contact with the grape skins, resulting in a fresh and easy-drinking wine which, in these great examples, also shows complexity and a touch of texture. Six great Rosés, spanning the world from Provence to Slovenia to Australia's Barossa Valley:
2022 Domaine Les Fouques Rosé, Provence France
MED | DRY | BERRY MELON
Based in the La Londe sub-region, this is a fully biodynamic farm, producing Grenache, Cinsault & Syrah of the highest quality. This translates to a complex Rosé of strawberry, melon and hints of floral and citrus.
2023 Chateau Montfin Rosé, Corbières, France
MED | DRY | RED BERRIES
A Certified Organic estate, covered in Garrigue bushes and comprising old vines, some over 80 years of age. This wine is Grenache and Cinsault.
Red fruited and textural, its slightly weightier palate lending itself particularly well to barbecued meats.
2022 Zlati Grič Dry Rosé, Pohorje Slovenia
MED | DRY | RASPBERRY
100% Blaufrankisch, a pleasing Provençal style, bursting with a generous fruit palate of musk sticks, strawberries and raspberries, a gentle touch of herb, finishing with a savoury complexity.
2022 Schwarz Rosé, Barossa Valley SA
LIGHT | DRY | STRAWB
85% Grenache and 15% Mataro, from vines over 45 years old. Clear Provence influence; pale and dry, with its own personality with some time in seasoned oak. Wild strawberry, peach and red apples finish fine and savoury.
2023 Gueissard ‘Petit G’ Rosé, Mediterranée France
DRY | MED | MANDARIN
35% Grenache, 35% Syrah, 30% Cinsault. Grapes are hand harvested and manually sorted. Provence style through and through; a nose of zesty citrus, mandarin and satsuma, the palate fruit driven and ‘crunchy’.
2023 Jules Rosé, Provence France (IGP Méditerranée)
LIGHT | DRY | STRAWBERRy
Hugh and Jane Faulkner founded their vineyard in the Masif des Maures, in 1989. Their eldest son Julian eventually took over and established the Jules label. Pure Provence style; strawberries and cream & aromatic herb freshness. Best vintage to date.
