2021 Super Felsa Spranger! Riesling, Alsace France

PRODUCER | This is new generation, old-world Riesling. Jérôme Mader, Eric Kientzler and Paul Fuchs are childhood friends who grew up in family wineries in the heart of Alsace. A few years ago they went thirds in a vineyard, and are making bone-dry, premium riesling from organically grown fruit. Just one wine, three blokes, cracking Riesling. 

WINE | Felsaspranger (Rock-breaker) is a local-dialect term for very dry Riesling. 

TASTING | Citrus and mineral characters are carried by a bracing structure and mouthwatering quality. A great wine for the beginning of a meal, with fish, or for medium-term ageing (to 2028)
