2021 Domaine La Florane ‘Fleur de Pampre’ Rosé, Côte du Rhône France

Cinsault, Grenache, Syrah. Made from blocks grown specifically for rosé, a perky and fresh expression of what the Southern Rhône is capable of for pink styles, a world away from the deeply hued, fruit driven Tavel styles. A similar weight and feel to good Provence rosé, though more a watermelon juice and citrus fruit spectrum, stony rather than saline mineral. Beautifully perfumed with supreme tension, a magnificent seafood wine.
